Hoffer on "Wordiness"
"A multitude of words is probably the most formidable means of blurring and obscuring thought. There is no thought, however momentous, that cannot be expressed lucidly in 200 words."

Someone should tell this to the master of talk radio entertainment; the one who sits behind the "golden eib" microphone and babbles for two hours about nothing. Nothing should, too, be communicated in less than 200 words! What a relief that would be to we who like to listen to talk radio while touring around.
